My favourite primary school memory was when i was Primary 5. My class was selected to chaperone Primary 3 students in an excursion to the Singapore zoo. As my register number was one of the last, i was arranged to guide the students in the last class of Primary 3, 3F. 3F students were known by many as the 'sly ones'. After knowing that i had to guide 1 fifth, 6 students, in 3G, i was a little terrified.
When the day finally arrived, the students introduced themselves warmly while we were in the bus and on the way to the zoo. I was surprised by their gesture. When we arrived the zoo, they were like the sweetest little angels I have ever met. I had never expected to guide such nice and wonderful children. Throughout the whole tour, they were attentive and had fun at the same time. Seeing them smile brings joy to me and I will never forget the cherubic faces they wore during the trip.
